Hannah Farthing

Hannah joined Woolley & Wallis in 2020 as assistant to the Paintings Department and has since become one of the company's youngest auctioneers. Now selected as Trainee Valuer, she is completing an eighteen-month programme rotating through each specialist department before reaching Valuations. Hannah acquired a Distinction and Director’s Commendation for her MA in Fine and Decorative Arts and Design from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. Previously, she graduated with a First Class BA in History of Art from the University of Bristol. Alongside her studies, Hannah worked in Bristol at the Royal West of England Academy and at Rainmaker Gallery, the UK specialist in Contemporary Native American art, while in London she worked as cataloguer for the Truell Collection Foundation. Hannah is member of the Royal Philatelic Society.
