The Clothworkers' Company, a silver replica of the Chetwin Cup,

bulbous circular form, Ox-eye handles, engraved with an armorial, motto, and initials P C, and also the arms of the Clothworkers' Company, the border engraved '1928 Copy of the Chetwin Cup(1657) presented to commemorate the First Charter granted to the Clothworkers' Company 1528', height 14.6cm, approx. weight 20oz.
Provenance: A Private Collection.
The armorial is that of Phillip Chetwynd, Renter Warden 1654-1655, who presented the original cup to the Clothworkers' Company.
