Day 2 - 1st November: Lots 2000 - 2400
Day 2 of the three-day Silver & Objects of Vertu continues with 400 lots of flatware, foreign silver, hollowware, and objects of vertu. A particular highlights of the day is a Private Collection of mustard pots. Collected over a number of years, no two are the same, and is the perfect opportunity to start a collection, with each lot also including a mustard spoon, they are ready to adorn a dining table. Day 2 of the sale is a Private Collection of caddy spoons. Comprising 37 lots, the extensive collection features a rare George III/IV silver pierced simulated filigree spoon, by Cocks & Bettridge, Birmingham circa 1820, with an estimate of £1,500-2,000.
