over-stamped with maker's mark of Thomas Lowndes and Edward Lycett, London 1786,
circular form, engraved with garlands of flowers and husk swags, the centre engraved with two armorials, beaded borders, on four beaded bracket feet, diameter 51.3cm, approx. weight 108oz.

The arms on the left are those of The East India Company and on the right an unidentified coat of arms presumably for the recipient of the salver.
