cylindrical form, the pull-off cover with a gadroon border and come finial, the scroll handle socket with a hinged cover for the water compartment, engraved with an armorial, height 12.3cm, approx. weight 12.57oz.

Provenance: A Private Collection.
Purchased from Sotheby's, London, 28 April 1999, lot 245.
The armorial is that of Todd impaling Dawson.
