the mounts by IT, possibly John Tweedie, London 1799,
baluster form, decorated with a hunting scene, domed hinged cover with a pierced thumb-piece, the inside of the cover engraved 'F & C' below a crown, for Fauconberg & Conyers inventory mark, height 23cm.

Provenance: A Private Collection.
Purchased at Woolley and Wallis, 19 October 2005, lot 829.
