A pierced silver-gilt Bezoar-stone holder,
unmarked, probably Indian late-17th/early-18th century,
ovoid form with a gilded band around the middle, with openwork scrolling foliate decoration, and each end with a rosette motif, with silver liner, diameter 3.7cm, approx. weight 1.2oz.

Provenance: A Private Collection.
Purchased from Christie's East, The Estate of Duane Voth, 13 December 1994.
