maker's mark of I and W Mc, Edinburgh 1784,
oval navette form, bright-cut decoration, and borders, flush hinged cover, engraved with a crest and initials, gilded interior, length 9.2cm, approx. weight 3oz.

Provenance: A Private Collection.
Purchased from Phillips, 21 July 1995, lot 57.
The crest is that of Campbell, Cruickshank, and Cunningham.
