A rare Victorian novelty silver nutmeg grater,
by Hilliard and Thomason, Birmingham 1854, modelled as a swimming swan, with textured feathers, with textured water and on a rocaille base, the hinged cover opens to reveal a hinged steel grater, length 4.7cm, approx. weight 0.6oz.
