A George III silver nutmeg grater,
maker's mark only, that of James Phipps, London circa 1780,
oval navette form, bright-cut borders, the hinged cover with a vacant cartouche, hinged base, the interior with a steel grater, length 6.5cm, approx. weight 1.8oz.
