A late 17th century, gold mounted, lacquered scent bottle, with a shaped body, waisted neck and oval pedestal foot, the mounts pinned on and engraved with debased foliage and scrolls, the lacquer with chinoiserie birds, figures and landscapes, heightened with gilding, pull-out stopper, 3in (7.7cm) high unmarked, probably Hugeunot work 1680-1700.
