by Richard Sibley, London 1831, retailed by Makepeace, London,
shaped oblong form, shell and scroll border, with a central pot and cover, the cast finial with a child in a shell and sea motifs, with two baluster inkwells, chased foliate decoration, the stand inscribed 'Lady Williams Wynn to Mary Milnes Gaskell, May 16th 1832', on four paw feet, length 25.8cm, approx. weight 27oz.
