A George II Scottish silver bullet teapot,
by James Kerr, Edinburgh 1737, assay master's mark lost,
globular form, chased with foliate scroll decoration, the flush-hinged cover with a knop finial, the leaf capped scroll handles with wooden insulators, on a raised circular foot, the underside of the foot initialled 'JC', length handle to spout 24.5cm, approx. weight 22oz.
