A 19th century French silver part dinner service,
two makers, Paris 1809-1819, maker's marks JB over GA in a lozenge and A over LC in a lozenge,
with a stiff leaf border, engraved with an armorial, comprising: eight dinner plates, a set of four larger plates, a large oval meat platter, three pairs of graduated meat platters, a pair of large circular platters, and a single circular platter, plus a matching German deep circular dish, by Hessenburg, Frankfurt, diameter of dinner plates 27.4cm, length of largest platter 62.5cm, approx. weight 940oz.
