A rare George II West Country miniature silver teapot, maker's mark only, MM, for Micon Melun, Exeter circa 1740. bullet form, scroll handle and tapering spot, pull off cover with a knop finial, on a circular foot, length handle to spout 11.3cm, height 5.1cm, approx. weight 2oz. for maker's mark see Jackson's, Ian Pickford Edition, 2002, page 293.
