An early 19th century silver mounted agate inkstand, unmarked, circa 1800, oval bowl form with a gadroon border, with three unmarked silver mounted cut-glass inkwells, the covers later monogrammed 'M', agate body (a.f) and repaired, on a silver mounted oval foot, length 25.1cm, with an accompanying hand written note 'This agate Inkstand was given to my Grandmother Anne Letitia Beare by Henry Von Holt about the year 1819 Elizabeth Cuyluard'.
