the underside incuse marked ST, possibly for Thomas Stilwell or Thomas Sharratt, retailed
by Samuel Toulmin of The Strand, circa 1765,
the spikes each attached to a leather jess, in a fitted silk lined shagreen case, the inside with a Samuel Toulmin Silver Cockspur maker trade label, various lengths from 4.5cm to 5cm.
