A Charles II silver plate,
maker's mark over-struck, London 1677,
circular form, reeded border, engraved with a coat of arms with plume mantling, the underside with scratch initials 'BR' diameter 25.5cm, approx. weight 12.4oz.

The arms are those of Richards quartering Taylour for The Richards family of Radnorshire. The initials on the underside are probably for Bridget Richards, (nee Taylor), who married John Richards of Llanandras.
