A Queen Anne silver snuffers stand and pair of silver scissor snuffers,
by Joseph Bird, London 1709 and 1711,
the stand with a knopped stem, fluted borders, the scroll handle with a fluted top, with a shaped rectangular capital, on a square base with canted corners, the snuffers of scissor form, both engraved with a widow's lozenge,
height of stand 13.4cm, total height 21cm, approx. weight 15oz. (2)
