A George III silver double tea caddy,

rectangular form, the gadroon border, with two hinged compartments, both crested, the front and back with an armorial within foliate scroll mantling, length 12.3cm, approx. weight 21.7oz.

The arms are those of John Butler, Bishop of Oxford (1777) and Hereford (1788-92).
