A silver two-handled cup and cover
A silver two-handled cup and cover,
with cancelled marks and London Assay Office marks for 2020,
circular form, leaf capped scroll handles, with a central girdle above cut-card decoration, on a raised circular foot, engraved with an armorial within figural and foliate scroll mantling, the pull-off cover unmarked, and with similar decoration, a crest, and with a knop finial, height 35cm, approx. weight 100oz.
The arms are possibly that of Deedes or Hipkiss impaling Evering or Avering.
