A large and fine Edwardian silver inkstand
A large and fine Edwardian silver inkstand,
by Sebastian Garrard, London 1908, also stamped Garrard and Co., Haymarket, London,
in the Egyptian manner, rounded rectangular form, with a central box, the hinged cover mounted with a large sphinx, the two inkwells with palm decoration on matted background, the hinged covers with crown finials, the borders with Egyptian motifs and with masks, with two pen wells, on four rectangular and two rounded rectangular feet, length 48cm, approx. weight 110oz.
