An 18th century silver-gilt snuff box,
unmarked, and with a later French import mark,
shaped cartouche form, the hinged cover chased with a putto on a mythical dolphin, the sides chased with putti and foliate decoration, length 7.8cm, approx. weight 2.4oz.
