A Victorian novelty parcel-gilt silver scent bottle and vinaigrette,
by Thomas Johnson, London 1873, retailed by W. Thornhill, 144, New Bond Street, also marked with a registration lozenge,
horn form, screw-off mouth-piece cover, the main hinged cover opens to reveal a silver-gilt pierced and engraved foliate grille, the cover applied with initials and dated 'Dec 13, 1874', gilded bands, with a chain and ring attachment, length 10.5cm, approx. weight 2oz.
