A Charles II silver money box / bag mount,
marked with a fleurs-de-lys, and maker's mark R.C, originally ascribed to Lincoln, but more recently attributed to unascribed English provincial, circa 1679,
oblong form, hinged cover with an engraved border, the mount with a wavy edge border, inscribed, ' Sarah Snafhall, her box 1679', length 5.5cm, approx./ weight 0.4oz.
