A William and Mary silver nutmeg grater, maker's mark possibly J.C, J.E or DE, circa 1690, cylindrical form, the cover engraved with a rose, the body with four bands of engraved decoration, pull-out tubular grater, length 5.2cm, approx. weight 0.8oz. Purchased from Phillips, London 11 April 1980.
