A late seventeenth / early 18th century silve baby's rattle and whistle,
unmarked circa 1700,
with a central ball and two curved ends, one with a whistle, the other with a coral teether, with three hanging bells and a chain, with scratch initials, 'I.G' over 'I.P', length 6.2cm.
Purchased from Phillips, London, 13 February 1981.
