An 18th century Dutch miniature silver iron and associated stand,
the stand by Wilhelm Van Strant, the iron marks worn, possibly by Pieter Van Somerwil, Amsterdam circa 1735,
rounded rectangular form, the iron with a hinged cover, the stand with five wire-work struts, length 4.2cm, approx. weight 0.4oz. (2)
Purchased 30 December 1984.
