A pair of 18th century gold mounted cut glass scent bottles, unmarked, rectangular form, the bodies with gilt decoration depicting birds and foliate decoration, (one neck a.f), the screw off covers with fluted decoration, in a fitted shagreen case of rectangular form, with inlaid stud decoration, height of scent bottle 3.3cm, height of case 4.8cm. Purchased from Christie's, South Kensington, 19 November 1984.
