A pair of George III silver entree dishes and covers,
by John Wakelin & William Taylor, London 1786,
panelled shaped rectangular form, gadroon borders, the pull-off covers with a gadroon border and reeded ring handle, engraved with an armorial and crest, the bases numbered 2 and 4, the covers numbered 1 and 3, length 31cm, approx. weight 85oz. (2)
The armorial and crest are that of Gill impaling Lowndes.
