of shaped oval form, gadrooned borders, engraved with a crest, scratched weights to the underside, length 28.6cm, approx. weight 40oz. (2)

The crest is that of Baron Elphinstone, possibly for John Elphinstone, 12th Baron (1764-1813).

Provenance: A Private Collection.
