A Victorian presentation silver trowel, by Aston and Son, Birmingham 1861, fluted baluster handle, the blade engraved with foliate decoration and inscribed, 'Presented to Gilbert Greenall Esq. M.P. by the Directors of the Warrington Public Hall Company on the occasion of his laying the foundation stone of the hall 10th October 1861' and 'Edward Walters Architect, Gibson and Son, Builders', length 31cm.
