Portugal, José I, the Reformer (1750-1777), gilt-silver medal, 1775, on the rebuilding of Lisbon after the earthquake, the equestrian statue of the King, MAGNANIMO RESTITUTORI MDCCLXXV, rev., allegorical scene of the presentation of the reconstruction plans, POST FATA RESURGENS, in exergue, OLISIPO, 46mm, with double-sided suspender in the form of a winged cherub. Very fine and scarce.
