oval form, pierced with foliate and scroll decoration, the centre with an engraved armorial, length 49.7cm, approx. weight 43.6oz.
The armorial is that of Hoghton Baronet: for Sir Henry Bold-Houghton (1799-1862), 8th Baronet of Hoghton Tower, Lancashire.
