We are delighted to present our two-day Silver & Objects of Vertu summer sale, taking place on Tuesday 16th & Wednesday 17th July 2024.
Day One highlights include a Private Collection of Caddy Spoons (lots 113-128), two separate Private Collections of Early Spoons (lots 154-171 & lots 172-179), and a Private Collection of Vesta Cases (lots 272-309). Also featured in the first day are a pair of early-19th century Maltese silver candlesticks, possibly with the mark of Paolo Schembri, Sir Alexander Ball period (1800-1809) (lot 198), a pair of 19th-century continental silver-gilt ewers (lot 200), a silver Treasury inkstand, by Hunt and Roskell, London, 1930 (lot 356).
