A George II silver kettle on stand,

globular form, the hinged cover with gadroon border and wooden finial, central wicker-bound hinged carrying handle, leaf capped spout, the stand of circular form, pierced scroll apron, on three leaf capped scroll legs terminating in shell pad feet, height 37cm, approx. weight 56oz.
Provenance: Sir Archibald and Lady Jamieson, Norfolk, and then by descent to Dinah Lady Tollemache at Helmingham Hall, Suffolk.
