A James I West Country silver Aphrodite spoon,
by John Quick, Barnstaple, circa 1620-1630,
fig-shaped bowl, the reverse of the bowl later prick-dot initialled, 'W.C' over 'E.I.I' over '1669', tapering faceted stem, gilded finial, length 19.3cm. approx. weight 1.9oz.
