rectangular form, canted corners, engine-turned decoration, plain ivory base, the ivory cover painted with a deer hunting scene, the inside of the cover inscribed 'After H.T. Alken (1784-1857), 'The chase of the Roebuck', orig. Collection of Frank S. Sabin', length 3.8cm.
