An early-Victorian silver mustard pot and four salt cellars,

in the Rococo manner, shaped oval form, with shells and scroll decoration, the mustard pot with a leaf capped scroll handle and blue glass liner, the salts with gilded bowls, plus six various condiment spoons, length 9.5cm, approx. weight 23oz. (11)
Provenance: From the Collection of Sir Framjee Dinshaw Maneckji Petit, 3rd Baronet (1901-1983) and Lady Sylla Dinshaw Petit (nee Tata), and then by descent to the current owner.
The 1st Petit Baronetcy was created on the 1st September 1890 for the Indian entrepreneur Dinshaw Maneckji Petit (1823-1901), of Petit Hall, Bombay. Lady Sylla Dinshaw Petit was the daughter of Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata.
