rounded rectangular form, the hinged cover with a raised scene of a tavern interior with six revellers, engine-turned sides and base, the interior inscribed 'To John Reeve from W.C.Evans and a few friends on his departure for America, London Sept 11th, 1835', length 7.8cm, approx. weight 5oz.
