A Commonwealth West Country Apostle spoon
A Commonwealth West Country Apostle spoon, St. Peter,
marked once in the bowl, and three times to the reverse of the stem RW, tentatively ascribed to Ralph Williams, Winchester, circa 1650,
fig-shaped bowl, faceted tapering stem, the finial with traces of gilding, the nimbus prick-dot initialled 'I.C;' over 'I.S' over '1652', length 17.7cm, approx. weight 1.6oz.
