A George III silver ewer,
over-struck with maker's mark of probably Thomas Daniell, London 1790,
tapering shaped rectangular form, with panels of fluted and engraved decoration, wooden scroll handle, the hinged cover with an urn finial, on a raised shaped rectangular base, engraved with an armorial, height 33cm, approx. weight 33.8oz.
Provenance: purchased from Sotheby's, London 26 November 1992.
The arms are that of Oliver or Turner and another in pretence.
