maker's mark of JM over MG, London 1977,
tapering circular bowl, with matted decoration and engraved with the Company's arms and inscribed 'The Gift of Christopher Pym upon his Admission to the place of Clerk of this Company', the stem modelled as a blacksmith at the anvil, inscribed 'by hammer and hand, all arts doe stand', on a raised circular foot, height 17.9cm, approx. weight 19.6oz.
