A fine Henry VIII silver Apostle spoon, St. Thomas,
maker's mark of a fringed S, for William Simpson, London 1533,
fig-shaped bowl, faceted tapering stem, gilded finial, pierced nimbus, the reverse of the bowl with an old collection label, length 17.8cm, approx. weight 1.7oz.
