We hold two dedicated sales a year of Modern British, 20th Century and Contemporary art. The department offers paintings, sculpture and works on paper by some of the leading artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, including Henry Moore, L.S. Lowry, Alfred Munnings, William Scott and Ivon Hitchens. We also have a particularly strong reputation for handling significant collections, such as The Estate of Dame Elisabeth Frink; The Seigfried Sassoon Collection, and The Geoffrey Harley Collection.

From single items to whole collections, our specialists are always happy to provide valuations, and we pride ourselves on our service to both vendors and buyers.

The Paintings department is located at Unit 1B, Castle Gate Business Park, Old Sarum, Salisbury, SP4 6QX. We offer free sale valuations here at our Castle Gate offices, while sales and payments take place at Castle Street.
