David Walsh trained as an artist in Rome. He paints en plein air in the UK, Italy, France, Ireland. He is inspired by the locations in different weather conditions and seasons. Colour and light are integral to Walsh and he only works directly from nature, liking to walk through the landscapes that he paints.
