Alongside her duties as HM Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sarah Rose Troughton is a keen artist, and has painted as a hobby for many years. Troughton lives in Wiltshire and paints landscapes, the human form dressed and undressed, still lifes and anything that inspires her. She has attended Maggi Hambling's art classes at Morley College in London for many years, teaching her to be brave with colour, never to use photographs as a prop and to love what you paint.
