Churchill - Winston Spencer: 'The Second World War', six volumes, volume one signed 'Winston Churchill 1955' and attested to be the last thing which Churchill signed in the Cabinet Room at 10 Downing Street, this accompanied by a T.S.L. on 10 Downing Street letterhead from the author's secretary John Rupert 'Jock' Colville to Edmund de Rothschild "Dear Eddy, Sir Winston Churchill has been very glad to inscribe Volume I of "The Second World War" and has asked me to send it back with every good wish. As you will see he has inscribed it on the title page", and a personal ms. letter from Jock Colville to Edmund deRothschild thanking him for "the wonderful present of shrubs which arrived yesterday over and above the Osmanthus I had ordered" and concluding "W. signed your book - the last thing he ever signed in the Cabinet room at 10 Downing Street!"; the remaining volumes unsigned, original cloth, dust jackets, London, Cassell & Company,
