Four British Army regulation swords, as follows: an 1889 pattern Staff Sergeants' sword, straight blade by Wilkinsons and dated for 1892, gilt-brass 'gothic' hilt with crowned VR cypher, unit marking: '9. HTS' replacing an earlier mark, steel scabbard; another of this type, hilt marked '5 S.R.', without scabbard; an 1854 pattern infantry officer's sword, etched blade, ricasso with retailer identified as McGubbin & Son of Kilmarnock, gilt brass hilt, brown leather covered scabbard; and an 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword, light model, Wilkinson's blade numbered 35547, lacking blade pointand without scabbard.
