Four Malayan swords (mandau or parang ilang), the first with 20.5 inch blade of symmetrical-section forged with fine scrolling projections arising from the back and from the ricasso, intricately carved bone hilt set with tufts of hair, carved wooden scabbard bound with rattan, braided suspension loop; the second similar, with C-section blade 22 in. and set with brass dots; the third similar; the fourth with wooden hilt and lacking its scabbard.
